Role Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on the cutting edge of the mobile gaming industry with a dynamic team.  Reporting to Glu’s Vice President and General Counsel, the Corporate Counsel will join Glu’s legal department as one of the five attorney in our San Francisco office


  • Negotiating and managing a wide variety of commercial transactions and agreements, including license agreements with various brands and personalities that are incorporated into Glu’s games.
  • Supporting Glu’s sales and marketing organization.
  • Intellectual property licensing, protection and enforcement.
  • Support on privacy-related matters.
  • Support on mergers and acquisitions and litigations matters.


  • 4-7 years of relevant legal experience and demonstrated success; prior in-house counsel experience, particularly at a publicly traded company, a plus.
  • In-depth experience and prior leadership roles in drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, as well as experience advising clients on and structuring complex commercial transactions.
  • Experience with privacy matters, intellectual property licensing, protection and enforcement.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, business judgment and work ethic.
  • Well organized, highly team-oriented and able to work with cross-functional teams and manage numerous projects simultaneously under pressure.
  • Superior verbal and written communication and analytical skills, coupled with the ability to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
  • Experience in mobile gaming, internet, software or new media preferred.
  • A JD from a top law school and excellent academic credentials.
  • A member of a state bar, preferably California.
