Digital Order Processing Auditor
Description
Essential Functions:
- Audits centralized digital orders for accuracy, completeness, and compliance, ensuring flawless processing.
- Verifies case data accuracy including but not limited to account number, patient name or patient ID on Rx, product, and source system. Identifies and inputs data corrections when applicable.
- Verifies product details, quantities, and customer information to eliminate errors before fulfillment.
- Verifies digital prescription product and information such as material, system, and size.
- Identifies and resolves discrepancies, preventing missed orders and operational delays.
- Collaborates with order entry, production, and shipping teams to correct issues as needed.
- Checks, processes, and releases customer sales orders; delivers information; and resolves issues while supporting good relationships with internal and external customers.
- Maintains detailed audit records and system documentation to support accountability and reporting.
- Updates case and order information as necessary, including but not limited to doctor account numbers, tooth material, tooth location, and reviews audit checklist.
- Contributes to streamlined order workflows, enhancing overall operational accuracy and efficiency.
- Investigates and responds to inter-departmental inquires.
- Manages backlog, ensures delivery commitments are met, and communicates order status.
- Maintains knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); adheres to SOPs while executing duties.
- Notifies management regarding any issues with incoming/outbound cases; asks questions as necessary to complete duties.
- Understands production requirements and quality standards of the position.
- Locates and corrects errors related to orders; asks for assistance when needed.
- Utilizes initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines to ensure smooth operations.
- Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at the direction of management.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Formal education in the field of Information Technology or Dental Technology preferred.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in phone-based customer support is a plus.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in the dental industry is a plus.
Special Requirements/Certification:
- Basic CDOP training required.
- Completion of data entry typing test with a passing score required.
