CT Scan Technician (Monday to Friday 10:30am to 7:30pm)
Description
Essential Functions:
- Determines suitability of customers’ impressions.
- Selects appropriate manufacturing settings for the each product/case.
- Utilizes designated system and software to scan impressions.
- Forwards accurately completed scans to design process.
- Tests CT software and hardware; validates or calibrates system or equipment as needed.
- Assists in various tasks relating to the CT Scan process.
- Uploads files as required.
- Opens inbound cases and applies spray.
- Scans case with image capture system to take digital picture of case.
- Prints work orders, work order stickers, and billing invoices for inbound and outbound cases.
- Attaches appropriate documents to Rx/cases. Affix work order sticker to case pan.
- Verifies case data accuracy including but not limited to account number, patient name on Rx, work order, and work order sticker.
- Ensures items listed on invoice matches case box contents.
- Notifies Supervisor/Manager regarding any issues with incoming/outbound cases; asks questions as necessary in order to complete duties.
- Ensures work area is maintained in a clean and orderly state throughout work shift.
- Partners with Shipper/Distributor to validate outbound production.
- Identifies and interprets data to be entered into appropriate systems according to incoming mail type and pre-established shipping data entry guidelines.
- Locates and corrects errors related to orders; asks for assistance when needed.
- Inputs prescription with corresponding case codes into Customer Management system.
- Searches for customer accounts, names, and addresses in Elektra; executes search using search keywords and account phone number
- Selects appropriate carrier and shipping option according to due date of outbound case; ensures Doctor/special instructions are followed as requested.
- Familiarizes self with different carrier shipping systems and software; utilizes carrier shipping systems when not integrated with Elektra or DL +.
- Applies appropriate shipping charge to each outbound case.
- Greets all guest, walk-in traffic in a hospitable manner.
- Provides administrative support such as answering inbound telephone calls, checking on ship dates, offering information on all products, updating new account information.
- Processes orders and prepares correspondences.
- Assists customers in problem solving, planning, development and execution of stated goals and objectives.
- Ensures customer retention and satisfaction.
- Sorts and distributes incoming mail.
- Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous dental technician or dental technology training.
- Prior dental work experience or background, a plus.
- Previous experience working in positions that require hand and finger dexterity, a plus.
- Previous experience in gaming or the use of social media platforms, a plus.
Special Requirements/Certification:
- Virtual Plaster Experience (VPX) certification, preferred.
Pay Range: $18.00/hr
