Media Assistant
Description
Join Glidewell Dental's marketing team, producing high‑quality video content that supports the Company’s mission to innovate dental care. This role plays a hands‑on part across every stage of production from pre‑production through post contributing to compelling content used across marketing channels including Glidewell TV, YouTube, and social media. It’s an excellent opportunity to gain broad production experience while helping deliver polished, high‑impact visual storytelling.
Essential Functions:
- Assists in the planning and preparation of video production projects, including coordinating schedules, securing locations, and organizing equipment.
- Provides general administrative support, such as preparing content for meetings, taking meeting notes, responding to emails, and managing calendars.
- Manages and updates projects in Adobe Workfront.
- Assists with filming and editing.
- Manages logistics including confirming talent and locations, working with set designers, production crew and others to achieve desired outcomes.
- Assists with setting up and breaking down equipment and lights for shoots.
- Prepares and organizes production materials, props and equipment.
- Conducts research for projects and creates talking points.
- Assists in developing key messaging, content ideas, and script concepts to support social media and television productions.
- Troubleshoots in the office, on the set and in the field.
- Logs footage, organizes and transfers media files.
- Manages call sheets, paperwork, expense reports, and release forms.
- Drafts materials for presentations, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with objectives.
- Assists with developing standard operating procedures related to production, workflows and best practices.
- Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in media, production, marketing or related field, required.
- High school diploma or equivalent, required.
- Associates’ degree or certification in film, television production, or related field, preferred.
- Knowledge of television production processes and industry standards.
- Previous experience in a production assistant role or similar.
Pay range: $18.00 to $25.00/hr
