Description

We're seeking an Associate Account Manager who is excited about gaining experience in working with SMB companies in an agile and collaborative work environment. As part of the Sales Team, an associate’s primary focus will be retaining revenue, developing a consultative skill-set and maintaining an exceptional level of customer service. The role will be responsible for managing 200+ current advertising brands, proactively reaching out to ensure client satisfaction/retention and increasing revenue via upsell opportunities and contract renewals.

  • Learn how to manage a book of business with a focus on revenue growth and retention while providing exceptional customer service
  • Maintain a high daily volume of activity including outbound calls, emails, with the intent of nurturing client relationships and identifying upsell opportunities
  • Proactively manage a book of business to ensure clients have an overall great experience with Glassdoor, while partnering with the Client Success Team to ensure that clients are receiving proper program expectations
  • Exceed monthly/quarterly retention and growth quotas
  • Leverage, explore and implement new technologies to best provide value to clients seeking counsel in employee engagement, recruiting and industry best practices
  • Thrive on change while remaining highly organized, optimistic, and coachable
  • Drive to individually compete (and win!) while still being a fantastic team player

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Ideally one year of Account Management experience (prior sales or advertising experience desired), but less experience would be considered for the right candidate
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with a strong focus on quota achievement, account retention and growing your book of business
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to track numerous details
  • Solid ability to handle tough conversations with clients in a professional, solution-oriented manner
  • Strong belief in proactive rather than reactive approach to handling clients and problems
  • A passion and deep understanding of customer service and business growth
  • Technically savvy and specifically skilled in SFDC, Marketo, and Tout
  • HR or recruiting industry experience preferred (but not required)
  • Strong interpersonal communication (both verbal and written)
  • A unique style, flair and creativity to a team that prides itself on its personality
