We're searching for a Sr. Manager to join our Business Application team at Glassdoor that will foster a broad partnership and highly productive consultative relationship between IT our internal clients and lead a portfolio of IT projects and services, with a focus on our Finance and People organizations.

You will fuel growth and efficiency by building scalable, elegant solutions that serve our customers and employees. You understand both business and technology in an Omni-channel environment where the ERP is a vital component.

You can help people dream and guide a room full of executives and turn their dreams, pains, and concerns into organized solutions and a clear roadmap.

You are persistent in investigating a problem until you've figured out clear solutions. You're always ready to roll-up your sleeves and be hands on when needed. You can translate ideas into requirements and have the skills to deliver. You can coordinate with partners and our offshore team, but you're equally comfortable diving in and building yourself.

You will evangelize and maximize capabilities we have today and both tactically and strategically drive new capabilities to the business to get the most out of our infrastructure.

You have broad implementation experience and functional experience with Quote to Cash, Procure to Pay and Hire to Retire.

You will be a key member of the Information Technology (IT) leadership team working with the Director of Business Applications.


  • You will have a Bachelor’s degree (B.A. /B.S.) or equivalent in computer science, engineering, business administration or related discipline. MBA or other relevant graduate degree preferred
  • 10+ years in IT analysis, design, and implementation of complex solutions with specific emphasis on Finance and HR related applications such as Netsuite, Workday, Coupa, Adaptive Insights and Concur  
  • 5 + years of IT experience in complete software development process including Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, and Implementation.
  • Comfortable continuously improving operational metrics, user experience and speed of delivery.
  • You have experience in defining team goals, building and coaching a team 
  • You have experience and project management in a fast-growing, technology organization, preferably cloud-based (SaaS) product model.
  • You solve problems, have strong analytical/critical thinking skills but exercise extraordinary EQ.
  • You are an excellent communicator with exceptional active listening skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong leadership, project management and interpersonal skills including collaboration, influencing & aligning.
  • Hands on experience managing ITGC's and application controls in support of PCI, SOX, etc.
  • Experience developing error/exception handling and reporting
  • Review and document all current systems and determine areas of risk and improvement.

Bonus Points:

  • Knowledge of subscription-based billing systems
  • PMI PMP and/or Agile Scrum Master certification.
  • NetSuite Certification
