Description

The Director, Website Marketing is responsible for the strategic management of  Glassdoor’s employer website. They will work with the marketing and product teams to devise the strategic direction and development of website initiatives. The Director, Website Marketing utilizes their knowledge of digital marketing & technologies to drive optimization of our website funnel and to shape the cross-channel buyer experience. This leader will own the traffic growth strategy, own the on-site experience, and drive their team to achieve aggressive conversion, pipeline, and online transaction goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the vision and management of our employer website
  • Create and execute a traffic growth strategy for our employer website in partnership with other teams (including SEO, B2C referral strategy, blog syndication, etc)
  • Create and execute a conversion optimization strategy for our employer website
  • Collaborate closely with product marketing and content teams to create a website content strategy and maintenance plan
  • Measure and report performance of all our owned website properties, and assess against goals (Traffic, Conversion, Self-service transactions,MQL, and SQL generation)
  • Optimize the marketing team’s use of technology by identifying  under-utilized, duplicative, or ROI negative tech investments.
  • Partner with sales tech, and product on workflows and data flows that impact B2B marketing & programs, including flows between the website, product, marketo, and other technologies.
  • Collaborate with the product and product marketing teams to create user paths the facilitate the buyer’s journey
  • Collaborate with Design / UX to create a website experience that resonates with our target buyers
  • Manage the website development team and ensure efficient delivery of digital projects
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights related to our use of marketing technology.
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests across the B2B website and landing pages.
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points, including interactions with all technology experiences (e.g. LookBookHQ for interactive content, video experience, landing page & email experience).
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners

Requirements:

  • 10  years in a marketing and product management
  • Experience managing marketing technologies and deploying integrations with websites and digital assets (e.g. optimizely, demandbase, marketo, etc)
  • Experience managing a B2B marketing website is a must, additional experience with eCommerce / self-service transactions is a plus
  • Experience overseeing website redesign projects
  • Experience managing technical resources and team members (e.g. Engineers, product managers, technology managers)
  • Deep understanding of B2B customer journeys and personas
  • Strong team leadership skills
  • Organized, innovative, and forward-leaning
