This role resides within the Global B2B Marketing Operations team, which supports the larger Global B2B Marketing team with the infrastructure necessary for executing and measuring marketing initiatives. On the team, you will manage existing integrations and innovate new relationships between our various systems and data for marketers to leverage. In this role you will ensure that all of our existing technology integrations continue to run smoothly and identify any areas of risk. You will drive integrations of new technologies into our stack. You will help us bring in new data points collected on that could be used in our marketing automation system to define audience lists, populate dynamic content in emails, and use as a reporting metric or filter. You will be the main conduit between our teams and the various sources of data and systems within the company.  

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the charge in working with Enterprise Applications (Salesforce Admins) and Glassdoor Engineering teams to manage the sync of data between our Glassdoor database, Salesforce, and Marketo
  • Spec out, project manage, and QA any custom development projects that come from B2B Marketing in conjunction with Engineering or Development leads
  • Act as the primary stakeholder and administrator of the Campaigns and Leads objects in Salesforce, working with the Salesforce Admins to manage these objects to Marketing requirements
  • Subject matter expert for marketing automation, demand generation, inbound leads and database marketing strategy
  • Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign and lead management life cycle
  • Interact with cross functional business units to define requirements and understand the systems upstream and downstream changes
  • Respond proactively to user questions/issues and implement new processes or improve existing ones. This includes interacting with cross-functional business units to define
  • Administer Marketo integration and relationships with other systems such as Salesforce, Outreach, and Tableau
  • Manage the relationship between our Sales / Marketing systems and other systems such as our freemium product offering, content and video technologies, social channels, and webinar platforms
  • Project manage the flow of self-service e-commerce data into the Sales and Marketing systems
  • QA new data flows between systems following any B2B Marketing-related engineering initiatives or Salesforce development projects

Skills and qualifications you should have:

  • Broad knowledge of Salesforce and Marketo beyond basic reporting or email execution. You’ll need some admin level understanding of the object models, field types, report types, sync structure, and applications of custom development
  • Project management experience leading cross-functional task force groups of software engineers, Salesforce admins, data scientists, Marketing managers, executives, and external vendors
  • Ability to prioritize and shift focus to quickly resolve issues with systems or processes that need attention
  • Strong knowledge of B2B Marketing business processes, technology stack and available solutions that help scale the marketing operations
  • Understanding of marketing funnel metrics and lead lifecycle processes
  • Background and experience in a digital B2B Marketing organization. Familiarity with systems that support a lead generation-driven business model
  • Enthusiasm for global business revenue generation with a balanced interest in technology, systems, and IT best practices
  • Experience with optimizing the systems and processes that comprise a marketing stack. This includes identifying technologies and potential vendor solutions, collaborating with stakeholders, conducting RFPs, negotiating terms, implementing technology solutions, conducting change management and training, and monitoring ongoing system performance
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, marketing automation systems, revenue attribution systems and influence models, and systems for tracking and measuring campaign performance
