Sales Compensation Analyst

Description

The Sales Compensation Analyst will be responsible for designing, delivering, and maintaining Sales compensation plans that motivate our global sales organization to succeed. This role will be responsible for managing critical compensation reporting and ensuring timely and accurate payout of sales commissions in accordance with company policy.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of distribution and acceptance of plan documentation to the Sales organization
  • Manage quotas, compensation plan designs, and rosters for Sales, SDR, and Customer Success teams in Xactly Incent
  • Deliver commissions and payroll reporting to Finance to close out each month
  • Track, audit, and report on the status of plan acceptance to ensure compliance and timeliness
  • Validate New Hire and Promotion employee data from Human Resources is accurate and complete
  • Contribute to the sales compensation team as needed with user acceptance testing, auditing, plan analysis, and reporting

Requirements

  • BS in Finance, Accounting, or related field; or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in a sales compensation or related sales operations/finance function
  • Strongly prefer prior experience with Xactly or other Sales Compensation software
  • Strong Microsoft office skills, working knowledge of SalesForce for reporting
  • Creative, intellectually curious and able to scale steep learning curves quickly
  • Ability to effectively collaborate cross-functionally, partnering with stakeholders to drive business performance
  • Team player that understands success rests on helping others be successful
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
