We are looking for an individual to lead our email marketing efforts for our Glassdoor user base. You will support our customer engagement and lifecycle efforts, focusing on segmentation, engagement and retention with a metrics driven approach. You’ll have experience at utilization of CRM systems and email platforms. You will have at least 3-5 years’ experience in a digital/live services business such as games, rewards programs, content publishing or ecommerce.

You’ll have a keenly analytical mind and the intellectual curiosity to identify and support new opportunities to test, grow and iterate our programs across PC, tablets and mobile devices. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, test, and launch email campaigns for US and INTL markets
  • Develop and optimize marketing lifecycle campaigns
  • Test subject lines, images, calls to action and copy to drive consumer engagement
  • Build segmentation capabilities for campaigns and programs
  • Monitor and report on email performance and deliverability, leading to the continuous improvement of user experience and overall ROI
  • Analyze and report on key marketing metrics to ensure campaigns are meeting business goals
  • Partner with UX and content teams to design engaging email content that is valuable to the end user
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Editorial, PR, Social, Creative, INTL and B2B Marketing teams
  • Hands-on use of our email platform. Within the platform, you will be building campaigns and programs, querying the database for segmentation, setting up tests and manipulating HTML.
  • Launch new A/B tests, analyze results, and identify actionable opportunities and best practices to improve campaign performance
  • Manage engagement marketing calendar and coordinate assets for US and INTL markets

Key Qualifications and Requirements:

  • S. or M.S. degree
  • 3-5 years relevant experience; creating, launching and optimizing email marketing campaigns
  • Experience with CRM platforms and top tier email service provider (Responsys or Exact Target a plus)
  • Understanding of responsive design, dynamic content, and email personalization – Movable Ink experience a plus
  • Basic knowledge and comfort working in HTML and Google Analytics
  • Must be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint or Google Suite
  • A/B & multivariate testing experience required
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong writing and analysis skills; proofreading and problem solving
  • Experience coordinating across many stakeholders and meeting tight deadlines
  • Outstanding problem skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • High energy and results oriented – always looking to make improvements
