Description

The global marketing team is looking for a dynamic player who will help articulate and shape Glassdoor’s strategic events in the technology, recruiting and staffing industries.

The ideal candidate is creative, energetic, passionate and aggressive in event management. Over time, they’ll be expected to grow and own large scale B2B customer and industry events. Key Responsibilities:

  • Become the Marketing Managers’ go-to assistant with field and partner events
  • Orchestrate the successful design and production of Glassdoor’s internal events, including our Best Places to Work Roadshow and Power Panel series
  • Maintain and assure a disciplined and effective project management approach to strategic events
  • Promote events via social, email and online marketing channels
  • Build relationships with key industry influencers, secure speakers and curate event content
  • Lead and supervise external production teams and support staff
  • Become a master at uploading leads and content to our Marketo and Salesforce databases

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 1-3 years event planning experience highly desired
  • Undergraduate degree required, marketing degree preferred
  • Skilled collaborator adept at partnering with internal teams and external vendors, sponsors and agency partners
  • Outstanding communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Refined attention to detail, impressive organizational skills, and an eye for consistency
  • Self-motivated and resourceful, ability to navigate ambiguity of a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Technically skilled and comfortable with new technologies
