We're seeking an Online Sales Representative (OSR) who is excited about gaining experience working with companies in a dynamic and evolving work environment. As part of the Sales Team, an OSR’s primary focus will be teaching potential customers about product details and benefits, assisting them through an online purchase process and maintaining an exceptional level of customer service. The role will be responsible for managing inbound leads (hand-raisers) through email, phone, and online chat while exceeding their performance targets. A successful OSR is a dynamic person who can build rapport quickly and explain complex concepts with ease.

What You'll Do:

  • Field inbound leads from existing and potential customers who need assistance or further details when considering a self-service purchase online
  • Swiftly gain a strong understanding of Glassdoor’s products and services in order to aid customers through an online purchasing workflow, or alternatively, get them to the right place
  • Sympathize, rationalize and understand our new and existing customers in order to help them
  • Respond to high volumes of inbound emails, calls and chats from new customers with energy and enthusiasm!
  • Learn to deliver meaningful demos on the fly
  • Exceed monthly and quarterly sales/activity targets
  • Thrive on change while remaining highly organized, optimistic, and coachable
  • Drive to individually compete (and win!) while still being a fantastic team player

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Ideally one year of Sales, Customer Success or Marketing experience, but less experience would be considered for the right candidate
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with a strong focus on inbound responsiveness, demo quality, and customer success
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to track numerous details
  • Solid ability to handle tough conversations with clients in a professional, solution-oriented manner
  • HR or recruiting industry experience preferred (but not required)
  • Strong interpersonal communication (both verbal and written)
  • Entrepreneurial and process oriented personality
  • Ability to roll with the punches, while providing good solutions to any challenge
  • A unique style, flair and creativity to a team that prides itself on its personality
