Glassdoor is looking for a strategic, forward-thinking and innovative Corporate Communications and Public Relations Manager to influence a range of audiences including employers, recruiters, HR professionals, analysts, job seekers and employees.

The right person for this role will be someone who is able to both strategize and execute, launch campaigns with minimal supervision, while working closely with internal stakeholders, such as marketing, product and engagement teams, and external stakeholders, such as employers, analysts, influencers and the news media. The ideal candidate will also have a diverse communications background, including corporate communications, experience in B2B and B2C brands and analyst/influencer relations. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage communications programs, campaigns and plans to influence a wide set of audiences including employers, recruiters, analysts, job seekers and/or employees, among others
  • Build and lead integrated communications plans, including execution from start to finish, both independently and with cross-collaboration and team support
  • Tell Glassdoor’s story to bring more customers (employers) and more users (job seekers) to our growing platform
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key influencers, including the news media, employers and analysts, among others
  • Proactively identify and build campaigns to increase visibility around new and existing products, services and features on Glassdoor for employers (B2B) and/or job seekers (B2C)
  • Write, edit and proofread communication materials (e.g. news releases, blogs, fact sheets, FAQs, pitches, corporate emails, briefing books, etc.) ensuring accuracy, quality and consistency
  • Manage speaking and awards opportunities to promote Glassdoor and its leadership team members
  • Serve as a Glassdoor spokesperson and product expert, including media opportunities, webinars, during analyst or media briefings and more
  • Track and report campaign results to improve future programs and bring greater value to business objectives
  • Manage and navigate issues as they arise
  • Proactively ‘manage up’ to supervisors and across teams on status of campaigns, sensitive issues that arise and overall progress
  • Actively participate and engage in business meetings and daily conversations - Ask questions, provide feedback, think critically, be present and curious every day to ensure the highest level of quality work and return on investment


Ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • BA or defined education in marketing, PR, communications, journalism
  • 7-10 years of corporate communications and/or public relations experience, preferably in-house at a rapid growth company and/or at an agency supporting companies in hyper-growth mode
  • Proven track record strategizing and executing communications campaigns for companies with both B2B and B2C audiences
  • Established relationships with key business and tech news media. HR and leadership/management news media relationships a big plus.
  • Excellent project manager skills with an emphasis on attention to detail and incorporating feedback from team members
  • Strong written and verbal communications, including outstanding organizational skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines while juggling priorities
  • Experience as a people manager
  • Proficient in Google Drive applications, i.e. Docs, Sheets, Slides
