Glassdoor is searching for a Content & Community Manager to join our team. The Content & Community Manager is a strong leader that can work cross-functionally with a highly talented team.   In this position, you will directly manage a team responsible for moderation of user-generated content, customer service, and project management. You will be responsible for managing the team’s day to day work and achieving goals set for analyzing & measuring performance, as well as influencing the future direction of the teams.   The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership and management capabilities, critical thinking capabilities, and deep analytical and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for people management of a team, providing leadership, clear guidance, continual feedback, and career growth for direct reports.
  • Work cross-functionally to seek out opportunities to improve operations within the Content & Community team.
  • Identify, develop and execute strategic plans to scale team operations.
  • Partner with sales organization on strategic accounts
  • Collaborate across the organization on strategic projects
  • Identify, monitor and report on key metrics
  • Identify, define and develop new processes to increase efficiency and scale operations
  • Manage and facilitate quality processes
  • Maintain our Service Level Agreement to meet a minimum response time

Specific Hiring Characteristics/Targets:

  • Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and development skills.
  • Ability to mentor and lead a collaborative team, refine systems and processes
  • Tech savvy with proficiency in Excel and Google Suite applications.
  • Ability to analyze data in pursuit of insights and provide recommendations
  • Experience working with offshore teams
  • Experience with the review and moderation of user-generated content a plus

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required in business or related field.
  • 3-5 years of management experience in a team-oriented workplace preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Business acumen, sound decision making, analytical skills; a consultative approach to managing complex client relationships
  • Ability to work quickly, organize and prioritize responsibilities
