Glassdoor is looking for a dynamic full-time Marketing Events Manager who is ready to make an impact on a growing company. In this role, you will help our fast-paced PR and Corporate Communications team reach and influence a range of audiences including job seekers, employees, employers, recruiters, HR professionals and analysts. 

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver world class event programs that drive successful results against strategic objectives, timelines and financial goals.
  • Develop integrated strategic plans for each event type from initial planning to on-site event management and post-event follow up.
  • Amplify the brand and product positioning, ensuring consistent, on-brand messaging.
  • Bring together cross-functional teams to deliver all event-related tasks under tight deadlines, including: content development, event offers and promotions, email campaigns and landing pages, and sales outreach and engagement.
  • Manage projects by developing comprehensive work plans, including schedules, key milestones and deliverables to help coordinate cross-functional teams towards achievements.
  • Manage event calendar and identify future opportunities.
  • Define event objectives and gain buy-in from stakeholders
  • Run pre and post event planning meetings and communications  including event staffing, speaker management, agendas, on-site needs, and sales preparation.
  • Create briefing materials for internal and external stakeholders as well as vendors; where appropriate, defining roles, timelines and resources.
  • Manage event logistics from electrical orders to onsite execution, and from budget to POs.
  • Serve as brand steward both internally and externally.
  • Evaluate event performance, including lead and ROI tracking and deliver wrap-up reports that demonstrate how events are meeting business goals.
  • Manage and process event leads in a timely and efficient manner
  • Serve as great coach/mentor for team to help develop skills and careers

Requirements:

  • 7+ years managing marketing events or programs with a proven ability to deliver complex programs. Experience in the enterprise ad tech industry is preferred
  • Strong understanding of event strategy, operations, and integrated event marketing
  • Ability to create program goals, messaging, communications, and overall event plans
  • Exceptional program, project, and time management skills
  • Highly organized, detail focused, results-driven, ability to handle stress and last-minute, urgent requests
  • Demonstrated experience event ROI reporting, and the hands-on utilization of CRM (Salesforce.com) and marketing automation platform (Marketo or equivalent)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and execute multiple events with competing priorities
  • Excellent budgeting and vendor management skills. Experience managing booth properties, swag vendors, printing vendors, trade show management companies
  • Ability to travel to event location specific to each program assigned.
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Strict attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Responsive and proactive on timely and priority campaigns and/or tasks
  • Proficient in Google Drive applications, i.e. Docs, Sheets, Slides
