Manager, Marketing Analytics

Marketing & BD Mill Valley, California


We’re looking for an individual with exceptional quantitative and analytic skills to optimize our advertising programs. You will work with Marketing, Product and Data Science teams to implement campaign requirements, manage optimization to meet business objectives, and translate performance and insights to stakeholders. You will be responsible for yield optimization on our advertising programs and building dashboards and reports to surface insights.

  • Drive product roadmap on automation and feature requirements to improve advertising program efficiency
  • Perform segmentation analyses to improve effectiveness of our advertising programs
  • Build reporting and monitoring to ensure optimal performance against targets
  • Work closely with Product and Data Science teams to drive tracking/reporting requirements and resolve discrepancy issues
  • Analyze and recommend key performance measures from campaigns to grow our ad spends with publishers
  • Develop and execute against an ongoing series of A/B tests for performance optimization
  • Partner with marketing managers to test new channels and sustain programs that grow Glassdoor’s global user base

Key Qualifications and Requirements:

  • B.S. or M.S. degree and 3+ years of experience in marketing/business analytics or yield management
  • Must have an understanding of CPM, CPC, and CPA models
  • High proficiency in Excel, conducting revenue and life-time value analysis
  • SQL query experience required
  • Experience with various reporting tools (Tableau), and web analytics (Google Analytics), etc.
  • Independent and proactive. You’ll think of new and creative ways to drive the business forward.
  • Great interpersonal and presentation skills. You are able to clearly communicate and present insights and recommendations to management.
  • High energy and results oriented. You’re always looking for improvements.
  • Experience and proven track record in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
