As a Senior Manager of Strategy and Insights, you will be a foundational member of our growing sales insights function on our business operations team.  In this role, you will partner with the Sales and Customer Success organizations, developing compelling narratives that leverage Glassdoor’s rich data to bring Glassdoor’s value proposition to life for customers through high-impact insights and storytelling.   

You will be responsible for driving analysis to generate impactful insights from our internal and customer data, partnering with Sales and Customer Success organizations to create compelling narratives that leverage this insight, and developing tools to scale the use of this approach. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive high-impact analysis of internal and customer data to generate insights that support Glassdoor’s go-to-market engine
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success organizations to develop compelling narratives that leverage these insights and accelerate the effectiveness of customer interactions
  • Scope and drive ad hoc analysis that leverages customer data to address high-priority customer questions
  • Test and incubate potential new data and insights solutions
  • Independently own workstream, with limited supervisor direction and oversight, including: framing problem, scoping and performing analysis, and packaging and communicating insights in a compelling way

Key Qualifications:

  • 6-8 years of total work experience, including at least 2 years experience at a top-tier management consulting firm, or equivalent experience in strategy / insights position at a fast-growing technology company
  • Bachelor’s degree required;  MBA strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated outstanding academic performance and analytical aptitude
  • Strong problem-solving, business judgment, and analytical skills
  • Exceptional storytelling ability and interest in using compelling data visualizations to convey insights
  • Strong communication skills with ability to clearly explain complex issues to a range of audiences
  • High EQ and capable of building strong relationships up, down, and sideways in the organization
  • Deadline-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task
  • Relentlessly resourceful and able to drive projects with guidance from supervisor
  • Experience managing a team of individual contributors
