The Glassdoor global marketing team is looking for a dynamic player who will help our Marketing Campaign Operations team manage campaign operations for our Demand Generation team.

You will lead the charge to ensure that all campaign operations run smoothly for our large Demand Generation team including campaign tracking, database segmentation, database segmentation and analysis, marketing database management, and Marketo segmentations.  You will work cross-functionally with sales ops and IT as an influencer on systems changes and implementations that affect our email and database operations. You will bring to the table a strong understanding of digital demand generation marketing tactics and data flows as our prospects and customers interact with our digital assets. You will own and operate tools and techniques to extract, transform, and compile data from multiple databases in the pursuit of maintaining data parity across all systems. You will provide insightful analytics to the entire team that helps us make more efficient use or our marketing database.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define tracking campaigns strategies that drive the measurement of demand gen efforts
  • Manage a team that will monitor tracking for high value campaigns such as Quote Request, Trial accounts, etc.
  • Modify and improve Marketo Segmentations used for reporting, email communications, database planning, etc.
  • Oversee the lead purchase and tracking process for Cost Per Lead programs
  • Co-own database cleanup projects with Sales Ops specifically related to duplicate clean up, go forward merge strategy and deletion of names in multiple databases/systems
  • Build out and define monthly database reports to be shared with the greater team. In addition, support in ad hoc database reporting requests
  • Conduct in depth analysis and make recommendations for how to optimize the use of our database, refine our segmentations, refine our sending practices, etc.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors for data hygiene, data augmentation, list sources, etc.
  • Continue to build out relationships with vendors to expand Glassdoor’s database management toolset
  • Manage a team of two team members plus external vendors.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent organization and prioritization
  • Able to manage a large database of marketing contact data
  • Prior management experience preferred
  • Self-starter requiring minimal supervision
  • Experience working with data flows through multiple sales and marketing systems
  • Strong analytic skills and ability to translate basic data sets into recommendations
  • Experience using Salesforce and Marketo required
  • Can manage external vendors for services such as data augmentation, hygiene, etc.
  • 3+ years of experience with Internet-specific tagging and tracking methodologies and their use for direct marketing analytics
  • Developing marketing performance tracking and measurement using web based tools such as Adobe Insight, Site Catalyst, Google Analytics, or Coremetrics.
  • Skilled in working with data at varying levels of granularity and the issues inherent in building data sets across different platforms and systems of record.
  • 1+ years’ experience managing a team
