Senior Manager, Monetization Strategy

As a Senior Manager, Monetization Strategy, you will play a key role as a foundational member of our growing business operations and monetization function.  The Biz Ops team at Glassdoor is responsible for a variety of impactful, highly strategic work. In this role, you will partner with the Head of our Jobs Marketplace and other key stakeholders at Glassdoor to define the strategy for our rapidly growing job advertising business, and support the implementation of critical, high visibility initiatives. In addition, as a member of the BizOps team you will support corporate-wide strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with BizOps leadership and other functional executives to help define Glassdoor’s overall strategy in jobs

  • Drive highly visible, strategic projects that have the potential to drive growth and create tremendous value for Glassdoor’s jobs business

  • Structure and execute operational and strategic programs by developing work plans, gathering and synthesizing relevant data, leading analyses and developing recommendations

  • Act as a quarterback on key initiatives, partnering cross-functionally to ensure results

  • Play a critical role throughout the corporate strategic planning process

Key Qualifications:

  • 6 - 10 years of total work experience, including at least 3 years experience at a top-tier management consulting firm, or equivalent experience in private equity, VC, or strategy / operations position at a fast-growing technology company

  • Bachelor’s degree required.  MBA strongly preferred

  • Exceptional problem-solving, business judgment, and analytical skills

  • Relentlessly resourceful and able to drive projects autonomously, with limited oversight

  • High EQ and capable of building strong relationships up, down, and sideways in the organization

  • Strong communication skills with ability to clearly explain complex issues to a range of audiences
