Glassdoor’s growth sits on the shoulders of the Advertising Platform & Services Team. The team has built technologies such as our home-grown advertising platform, automated bidding system, product provisioning and trafficking systems, and system level integrations for revenue operations.

We are looking for a seasoned Product Manager who will lead AdTech innovation at Glassdoor, completely rethinking our advertising platform and technology investments of our AdTech from the ground up. The ideal candidate will be a creative technical thinker, one who thrives on interesting complicated challenges and has hands-on experience building and designing an adtech system. Note that this is a technical role hands-on role in designing the system, and then partnering effectively with a variety of stakeholders such as marketing, sales, finance, business operations, and data science.

You are expected to be an excellent problem solver with good technical judgment as well as have relentlessly high standards and passion for delivering scalable, well-architected systems that will deliver positive business impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the overall success of AdTech platform and services, including strategy, product roadmap, product design and specification, quality, sales enablement and launch
  • Establish a product roadmap based on data, research and feedback from clients, customer success team, marketing and sales
  • Engage in technical architecture discussions with your team to breakdown business requirements into crisp technical requirements
  • Work with your team to estimate, implement, and build features while ensuring that you are partnering with client services and marketing for the client facing releases
  • Write stories, prioritize sprint work, partner with engineering manager for sprint planning and manage expectations with other product teams dependent on platform
  • Serve as the product owner and the liaison for providing system support for the needs of client services, marketing, business development and finance teams
  • Coordinate launch activities for platform enhancements, assess business impact, communicate to stakeholders and measure post-launch impact
  • Closely partner with marketplace lead and search algo team to enhance value delivery to clients
  • While doing all of the above, maintain your sense of humor and have fun!

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in product management preferably in SaaS platforms, ad serving technologies or online monetization
  • 2 years of experience in working with B2B non-technical functions such as marketing, sales, sales operations and client services
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and quantitative skills with data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Having the magic of demystifying complex problems and building action plans to solve them
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong cross-team collaboration skills, excellent communicator and magician in getting consensus to drive priorities into the sprints of other teams.
  • Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies
  • Confidence to interact with team members across all departments and levels of the organization.
  • Familiarity with web-based product development using Agile methodologies.
  • Being self-sufficient in pulling your own data is a plus (do you speak SQL?)
  • 4-year degree BS/BA in a technical, business or other analytical field required
