Gigamon is looking for a National Channel Sales Engineer

Responsibilities

The Channel Sales Engineer works to provide our partner community with the necessary skills to promote Gigamon products and solutions, for their customer base.  The successful Channel Sales Engineer will leverage their technical background, in networking and security, along with a strong business acumen to champion Gigamon, as a top-of-mind component, in delivering solutions, via our channel partners.

The responsibilities of the Channel Sales Engineer will include technical enablement, training and business growth, within Gigamon’s National channel partners.  Working closely with the Channel Account Manager(s), the Channel SE will help support the partner plan to expand our footprint, in order to drive revenue and provide the best solution options, while articulating Gigamon product benefits. 

Essential Functions

  • Perform product demonstrations and presentations at partner sites, company road show’s and events
  • Provide reporting and feedback on partner activities to Sales, Product Management and Engineering
  • Promote new and innovative approaches to addressing business challenges and problems, as it relates to the partner and their customer base
  • Maintain a broad level of knowledge of industry trends and how Gigamon products add value
  • Travel throughout the region
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned
