Revenue Manager
Description
- Partner with sales, sales operations, order management, FP&A, and legal teams to determine the appropriate revenue recognition treatment for all new product and service introductions, new pricing and promotional models, and new go-to-market strategies. Update revenue recognition treatment of existing product and service offerings, to stay up to date with future accounting pronouncements.
- Assist in the quarterly revenue forecasting process. Partner with members of other teams to ensure alignment on updated projections.
- Manage month-end and quarter-end close related to Revenue, including hands-on responsibilities for deliverables.
- Maintain appropriate internal controls in collaboration with external auditors as needed.
- Manage projects related to financial systems and business processes, including RevPro transaction processing and RevPro systems enhancements.
- Be a change agent for implementing new ideas and process improvements in an increasingly complex environment.
- BS in finance or accounting.
- Big Four public accounting experience and an active CPA license preferred.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in revenue; experience supporting sales operations and revenue forecasting highly desired.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership for projects and drive to completion.
- Excellent teamwork, including the ability to interact with all organization levels.
- Experience in a fast changing, fast-paced multi-national company.
- Experience with working with systems: SalesForce, RevPro and Microsoft D365.
- Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience in the practical application of revenue recognition guidance for multiple performance obligations under ASC 606, including revenue recognition for hardware, software, and professional services.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
