How you’ll be there for educators and students: 

Catapult Learning is in search of a Professional Development Supervisor to provide leadership in the management and delivery of its development services for Jewish schools in New York City. As a Professional Development Supervisor, this individual will have the opportunity to coordinate the sale and delivery of Catapult professional development aligned to the needs of educators to grow as instructional leaders within their schools. This involves being able to:

          Intimately understand and implement the terms and conditions of all contracts and proposals for the programs

          Assure that programs meet required goals for service quality, client satisfaction, and other specified goals

          Maintain a high level of customer service, resolving client concerns swiftly and appropriately

          Assist Regional Director in maintaining program budgets

          Work with clients to ensure timely payments

 

This individual will also be responsible for managing customer satisfaction to ensure contract renewal.

How you’ll do it:  

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manages the performance and effectiveness of programs to ensure that staff functions well and program goals are attained
  • Partners with DOE Liaison and Sales to understand new program requirements
  • Maintains open Communication with Sales Team to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Establishes a positive professional rapport with school staff, principals, and the district partners
  • Coordinates with PD Manager and Regional Director in the selection, training, evaluation, retention, and termination of staff
  • Manages the submission of any documentation required for compliance to the DOE, including the management of invoices, billing, and collections
  • Conducts field observations of consultants and coaches to ensure quality of services
  • Manages consultants, coaches, and vendors’ calendars in the scheduling of PD Coaching and workshops as requested
  • Reviews and approves consultants, coaches, and vendors’ documentation as required by customer
  • Coordinates and oversees events and Institutes as required by contract
  • Prepares end of year reports as required by customer
  • Directly manages Lead Coaches
  • Assists in other areas as needed due to increase in customer needs throughout the school year

What we’ll need from you: 

  • BA/BS Degree in Education/Business or related field
  • 4+ years of administrative experience in education required
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, take initiative, and work independently
  • Excellent communication skills are essential (written and oral), with attention to detail
  • Must have desire to work in fast paced environment, be flexible, and meet deadlines
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly in Excel
  • Master’s degree preferred

OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Travel will be required throughout the area as well as occasionally for outside client areas.

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Light lifting, walking, climbing stairs. Most services are delivered in school settings
