Key Responsibilities:
•  Work with a small group of students (no more than 8) throughout the school year in reading and math.
•  Follow a proprietary scripted curriculum, delivering targeted lessons with the resources provided. 
•  Receive ongoing support and coaching from a Washington-based Program Supervisor. 
•  Help students develop foundational skills to succeed academically and catch up to their peers. 
Creating a Learning Environment: 
• Customize lesson plans using provided resources to target student needs.
• Maximize instructional time through effective pacing, wait time, and differentiation. 
• Create a learning environment that clarifies goals and connects lessons. 
• Use data to scaffold and differentiate instruction.
Fostering a Positive Classroom Culture:
• Engage students by establishing a clear purpose, encouraging critical thinking, and fostering a  growth mindset. 
• Encourage students to take ownership of their learning and growth. 
• Establish clear routines and procedures for student success. 
Professional Growth: 
• Gain proficiency in new material during training sessions 
• Continuously improve skills through coaching and feedback.
•  Show eagerness for feedback and a willingness to implement new teaching methodologies. 
Tracking Student Progress:
Maintain accurate data on attendance, academic progress, student forms. and educational materials.

Who You Are: 
We seek a positive, enthusiastic teacher with the following qualifications: 
• High school diploma required.
• Teaching and/or tutoring experience required. 
• Bachelor's degree and teaching license highly preferred. 
• Ability to implement evidence-based reading and math interventions in small groups. 
• Capability to develop and implement individualized strategies for intervention. 
• Experience with scripted curricula and skill-appropriate lesson delivery. 
• Ability to analyze and interpret reading and math data to meet student needs. 
• Classroom or small group setting experience. 
• Flexible schedule based on school location. 
Additional Qualifications: 
• A belief that all children can learn. 
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude toward internal and external customers. 
• Flexibility in adapting to different situations.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred.
