We are seeking a School Social Worker to join our team.

The School Social Worker will provide services at assigned schools in accordance with contract specifics and company policies and procedures. 
  
How you’ll do it:    
  • Working with both school personnel and parents to develop specific interventions on behalf of eligible students. 
  • Collaborating with teachers and other school personnel on methods to enhance student’s abilities.  
  • Working as a referral agent linking students and families with outside agencies to service their needs (when appropriate).  
  • Facilitating Family Engagement workshops.  
  • Providing family support, individual and group Counseling (as needed).  
  • Facilitating and supporting multi-disciplinary interventions/meetings

  • Compensation: $45-50 per hour commensurate with experience

What we’ll need from you:    
  • Must be a licensed social worker or certified school counselor with at least two years' experience in the field.     
  • Must have demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with students, families and school personnel. Excellent time management, organizational, verbal and written communications skills are essential. Computer literacy a must. 
  
Physical Environment/Working Conditions:  
  • Light lifting, walking, climbing stairs. Most programs are in school settings
