Warehouse Specialist

The Warehouse Specialist is an integral position within our supply chain. The ideal candidate is both an experienced workhorse, follows details, and is an ambitious organizer. This person must be able to handle balancing the needs of the daily inventory picks for a variety of inventory while conducting their job in compliance to our safety standards at any of our facilities. We are looking for ambitious, positive, and outgoing individuals with impeccable people skills to be part of a growth-oriented team.


  • Facilitate inventory control for all finished goods, including tagging, wrapping, stacking and reorganization of product
  • Execute daily picks of finished goods or raw materials in a timely and safe manner
  • Uphold organization and material handling standards within all facilities
  • Perform inventory counts of finished goods, supplies, soft goods and equipment
  • Conduct general maintenance and upkeep of warehouse, including facility management and equipment cleaning
  • Assist in the shipping or receiving of freight shipments



  • Collaborate as needed with other departments to integrate logistics into overall Fort Point systems
  • Maintain logs & complete all forms as instructed
  • Administer shipping of outgoing packages as needed



  • Ability to lift at least 180lbs. and be able to push/pull up to 5000lbs. using a pallet jack
  • Prior work experience in a warehouse
  • Ability to climb on and off delivery vehicles when loading/unloading
  • Valid CA Driver’s License and Clean Driving Record
  • Courteous, professional and polished demeanor
  • Prior work experience in a warehouse
  • Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application

  • Physical ability to stand up to 8 hours a day, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, walk, crawl, push and pull items weighing up to 180 pounds repeatedly
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical systems
  • Ability to work well with others in a group, cooperate with others, offer to help when needed, and foster a team climate within the group where members are committed to a common goal 
  • Demonstrated listening skills and ability to comprehend detailed information through verbal and written communication, instructions and procedures
  • Ability to change or adapt work practices, priorities, or procedures or to reschedule activities in response to changing conditions or multiple work demands 
  • Occasional overtime required



  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Forklift certified & familiarity with OSHA standards


  • Prior large straight truck driving experience


  • Day Shift: 7am - 3:30pm
  • Evening Shift: 12:30pm - 11pm
  • Shift determined by the Warehouse Lead


  • Use of Forklift and Powered/non-Powered Pallet Jack on a daily basis
  • Application of stretch wrap and on-going pallet management
  • If applicable to shift, operation of large straight truck
