Summary:
This position works directly with our credit managers to review loan applications and enter in customer information into various systems and spreadsheets. In addition, this role works with customers to help gather additional information or answer questions as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Review loan applications and other related documents for accuracy.
  • Input customer and loan information into electronic databases as well as updating information into various department spreadsheets.
  • Support the Credit Managers by assisting with customer questions and being a main point of contact for gathering additional information from customers as need to help with the loan process.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks for the department and may support various projects and initiatives as needed.

Education and/or Experience
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • College courses or similar education or experience in accounting or finance preferred but not required.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Suite including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Previous customer service experience (phone based) required.
  • Previously lending experience with knowledge of regulations a plus but not required.
  • Experience with data entry or similar role with strong and accurate typing skills

  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills, professionalism with customers and phone etiquette. 
  • Ability to write clear and concise letters, reports and written communications such as email.
  • Ability to establish and maintain a good rapport and cooperative relationship with clients and co-workers.
  • Ability to see details in data and customer information.
  • Ability to demonstrate the highest level of ethical behavior and confidentiality and maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
