Job Summary

The Tool Keeper will maintain accountability, inventory, and serviceability of tools, materials, and consumables. You may be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization’s core values.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control the issuing and receiving of materials, tools and consumables and ensure that they meet all requirements including specification, quantity, and delivery date.
  • Prepare requests for materials, tools and consumables.
  • Prepare delivery order letters for outgoing tools, materials and consumables from the plant site.
  • Transport materials from customer warehouses to FieldCore warehouses until the installation date as needed and inform the engineer when the material is ready for use.
  • Prepare a quarterly inventory report which includes tools, consumables, materials and stationeries and maintain a minimum stock of tools and consumables.
  • Ensure that all issued tools, materials, and consumables are safe and ready for use.
  • Maintain all chemical inventories safely, including handling, storage, disposal, and recording.
  • Report any safety issues with tools, materials, or consumables to the safety specialist or manager.
  • Maintain lifting accessories, scaffolding material, electrical and power tools, hand tools, and machinery inventories including periodical inspection, storage, disposal and recording.
  • Maintain PPE inventories including availabilities, stock storage, inspection and maintenance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Travel may be required
  • Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • High school diploma preferred
  • Two years of experience as Tool Keeper preferably in Power & Energy sector.

  • Strong organizational, research, customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prepare accurate reports containing findings and recommendations, perform a wide variety of duties/responsibilities with accuracy/speed under the pressure of time sensitive deadlines and work independently
