The Team:

Our world class Technology team is at the core of what we do- they both help support the running of the current business as well as explore new and exciting technologies that keep Farfetch truly revolutionizing the industry. Split across 3 main offices- London, Porto and Lisbon, the tech hub is the fastest growing team working across all touchpoints, Web, Mobile and Instore. The IT Infrastructure team is responsible to design, monitor and analyze the performance of all networks and Datacenters and their infrastructure as a service of Farfetch, identifying problems and being a part of the solution. With experienced Engineers able to work as a Taskforce to help all system to run.

The Role:

As a member of the team, you will integrate our global infrastructure group, having responsibilities in design and maintenance of datacenters systems and network infrastructure. You’ll be able to change knowledge with a multicultural team based in several Farfetch sites around the world.

What you'll do:               

  • Monitoring the Network infrastructure & ticketing corresponding to SLA’s;
  • Troubleshooting of network devices;
  • Implementation of Cisco network solutions;
  • Troubleshooting of WAN connections and IPsec/SSL VPN;
  • Create the network documentation from the existing infrastructure, planned infrastructure as well as updating existing documentation.
  • Work closely with team members to provide quick support & error-free environment;
  • Committed and engage in continual technical development

 

Who you are:

  • Have a computer science academic background;
  • Experienced in working with heterogeneous networks including datacenters and enterprise networks.
  • Deep routing and switching knowledgeable (CCNA/CCNP or similar): OSI Model and TCP/IP, VLAN, Spanning Tree Protocol, SPAN, ACL, High Availability, NAT, IPSec, Radius and SSL Encryption Technologies.
  • Comfortable with wireless technologies;
  • Feel comfortable with English (oral and written);
  • Dynamic and communicative;
  • Love to work in a team that believes in “Todos Juntos”;
  • Certificated or know about iWatchguard and Checkpoint firewall technologies
  • Certificated or knowledgeable about in Linux systems.
