People Applications Support Specialist

The role

We are looking for a People Applications Support Specialist  that will be responsible for helping other Farfetchers globally to take full advantage of our HR Systems in their daily jobs while shaping the future of the company by participating on the optimization of all the people related processes and software. This role will report to the People Applications Manager, sitting within People Team, and will be based on Porto.


What you’ll do


  • Support fellow Farfetchers on using the available People solutions, taking full advantage of their potential;
  • Understand and follow internal processes on incident resolution (including escalation) within the supported applications;
  • Analyze, troubleshoot and help resolve People systems issues in a timely manner;
  • Work closely together with the People Applications team colleagues to provide the best user experience to all Farfetchers, by identifying and recommending product and process customizations, enhancements or workarounds.
  • Act as a pivotal point in the identification of end-user training needs, build training materials and provide on-site and virtual training to end-users;
  • Participate on the build of the end-user engagement plans;
  • Communicate received feedback to senior team members;
  • Document and log work efforts, including all client support requests;
  • Prioritize tasks autonomously, in accordance with the severity policy


Who you are


  • Experienced on HR processes and systems from a functional point of view. Knowledge on Workday is a plus;
  • Experienced in Help Desk/ Service Support
  • Amazing at researching and solving problems and documenting solutions;
  • Great at communicating with team members and internal customers;
  • Able to prioritize conflicting demands with little supervision and meeting deadlines with the highest quality;
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with confidential information;
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken);
  • Team player attitude.
