Principal Product Owner, Native Apps (iOS & Android)

About the role:
You’ll set context on ambiguous product areas and opportunities, allowing high quality products to flourish. You have mastered a wide range of workshopping and ideation techniques, always insist upon working with Product Designers and Engineers as well as having excellent presentation skills. You can navigate a complex group of stakeholders, tailoring your approach as you go, and understand how to communicate effectively regardless of their department.
What you’ll do:
- You will be the Principal product development for key product areas and initiatives
- You will initiate and wholly own complex product development projects across multiple product teams, defining strategy, establishing excellence and upskilling your colleagues in the process
- You will lead by example – collaborate with and mentor product owners, pushing Product teams strategic thinking as well as helping with our recruitment efforts
- You will take into accountability of the end-to-end app experience across iOS and Android platforms under a customer-centric, impact-driven mindset
- You will support strategic research projects
- You will navigate effortlessly between high-level strategic thinking and discussing the details of our customer experience
- You will elevate the whole team and be their ambassador internally and externally
- You will partner and develop a close peer relationship with a Principal Product Designer
- You will support and elevate Data insights integration in the product development cycle
- You will be accountable for key app experience KPIs
Who you are:
- You are experienced in native app product development
- You are experienced in Retail, Tech or E-Commerce companies
- You have consolidated experience in the Native Apps Consumer Products area, with a strong knowledge of Customer Experience and Conversion Rate Optimisation
- You are experienced in working on high traffic consumer products is a plus
- You have an understanding of the luxury retail industry is a plus
- You are highly collaborative
- You are able to use data to inform key decisions. This includes analysing usage patterns to drive prioritization and adopting a test and learn approach to building product to inform product direction
- You are strong analytical and conceptual skills
- You are able to demonstrate the process and outcome of the evidence-based approach that you’ve employed on previous projects
- You have excellent communication skills in English, being able to communicate at all levels in the organization (from the development team to the C-Level team)
- You have exceptional attention to detail, an ability to assimilate, sort through and aggregate complex information quickly and effectively
- You are able and willing to travel to other Farfetch offices when required
