EP + Co is looking for a Group Creative Director to lead teams in doing just that. Do > Say is the agencies ethos for a reason.

As one of Ad Ages 2018 A-List agencies for breakthrough work for Tumi, 20th Century Fox’s Dead Pool, Men’s Wearhouse and Denny’s, EP+Co didn’t earn the title by thinking in a box. That’s why they need a GCD to Unthink Everything from concept to production, using everything in the agencies in-house toolbox of capabilities to make it happen. All while rallying and nurturing young talent that’s hungry to do likewise.

These days, ideas come to life in many forms across all platforms. This candidate needs to be able to unthink the traditional approach from content and social to experiential and creative technology. They should have the confidence and presence to own the room to get those big ideas made, with a little good old earned media to boot. They should have a keen understanding of strategy vs. concept to galvanize their ideas as much as work hand-in-hand with their extended team from Account to Strategy.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of lead creative, planning, conceptualizing, content development, and creative brainstorming experience at a senior level
  • Comes from a place where idea/content is king
  • Experience within advertising or brand development setting
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring junior creative, design and writing staff
  • Experience as a skilled client service professional with track record of enduring client relationships
  • Deep knowledge of digital, social, traditional and influencer communications
  • Known for high-profile, award-winning creative work
  • Talented hands on creative leader who is a highly conceptual thinker and a clear communicator
  • Strong desire to collaborate, with a positive attitude and vision for the future
  • Knowledge of and sensitivity to trends influencing popular culture and design
  • Expert knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and PowerPoint as well as solid working knowledge of Word and Excel
