About the role
Leading a team of Jira Tooling Specialists. The “JIRA System Analyst “will support the development, maintenance, and training of the JIRA SW tool set across the organization.
What you will do
- Hands on experience on recommending and implementing Scrum/Kanban process to projects.
- Work with internal stakeholders and external vendors to influence, shape and implement strategic direction.
- Strong ability to communicate technical ideas and defend rationale for technical decisions.
- Develop Jira workflows, permission schemes, notifications, and customized pages for use across the organisation. Prior experience of managing JIRA instances. Strong knowledge of JQL.
- Build automations to meet the project requirements and should have Scripting knowledge to automate the repetitive jobs.
- Assessing system architecture currently in place and working with functional leads to recommend solutions to improve it.
- Provide Atlassian system administration and ad-hoc support.
- Manage, recommend, and deploy appropriate solutions using relevant products to meet stakeholder requirements.
- Design and implement a tooling solution to ensure that an accurate and up-to-date Service.
- Bitbucket administration and troubleshooting experience is must.
- Maintain Atlassian (JIRA Software, JSM, Confluence, Bitbucket) and plugins licenses.
- Responsible for leading all new projects on Jira, including the configuration of layouts, designs, workflows, and dashboards.
- Provide ongoing support for all knowledgebase, tooling, and integration solutions for the global Client Service Teams.
- Ability to collaborate with a cross-functional teams of developers, analysts, and operations stakeholders.
- Planning and effective delivery of project/continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide support and training to Client Services to support the roll-out of new JIRA projects and JSM projects.
- Maintaining knowledge of industry best practice.
- Resolve any technical issues experienced within the Atlassian tools, knowledge base and tooling suites.
- Support the apply and maintain built-in customization and third-party add-ons to extend JIRA / Confluence functionality, as needed.
