Associate Director, Corporate Affairs
Job Summary - a concise overview of the job
The Associate Director, Corporate Affairs is responsible for delivering communications programs in various areas including external corporate communications & product public relations, corporate-level social media strategies and tactics, financial communications in support of quarterly earnings calls, and corporate awards. The role will support internal communications as needed. In this role, the Associate Director, Corporate Affairs will work across the enterprise, leveraging high level writing capabilities, versatility and social media knowledge/practice. The role will operate independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
In this role, the Associate Director, Corporate Affairs will work across the C-suite and be a resource for executive leadership. This individual will have high visibility and exposure to the top level of Endo’s Executive Management Team with the opportunity to showcase high level of strategic thinking, writing capabilities and versatility.
All incumbents are responsible for following applicable Division & Company policies and procedures.
Scope of Authority - span of control (work unit, site, department, division, etc.), monetary value of budget/spend authority ( capital, operating, etc.), P&L responsibility, etc.

Corporate Affairs, External/Financial Communications,
Brand PR and Internal Communications
Lead the development of a corporate-level social media strategy and lead tactical execution of the strategy, including Executive thought leadership.
Support corporate communication initiatives by drafting and distributing external communications materials, including press releases, Q&As, statements, and other written material for use with the media and external audiences.
Support the implementation of strategic public relations campaigns for all key products, working with brand teams and Corporate Affairs to ensure alignment of communications objectives with business objectives. This may include new product launches, new indications, disease awareness campaigns, etc.
Partner with Investor Relations on communications related to ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) initiatives and reporting.
Lead external corporate awards strategy and implementation that supports the Company’s vision/mission.
In coordination with Director of Investor Relations, support the development of financial materials for quarterly earnings calls including press release and earnings script.
Support internal communications strategies and plans that engage, align and inspire employees around Endo’s vision, core values and business strategy and their understanding of the Company’s business priorities and initiatives.
As needed, partner with leaders and Corporate Affairs colleagues to coordinate and oversee internal communications around strategic initiatives, including, but not limited to, town hall meetings, memos, organizational changes, acquisitions and divestitures, and company events. Develop training and templates to help leaders manage communications and facilitate dialog with employees and other business partners.
Education & Experience
Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience and certifications required for the job
§ Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Business Management or related field required.
§ 10-12+ years of relevant experience.
§ Strong experience in corporate communications or working in an agency environment.
§ Experience managing and creating social media communications.
§ Experience working with various social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.
§ Pharmaceutical and/or Agency experience preferable.
Proficiency in a body of information required for the job e.g. knowledge of FDA regulations, GMP/GLP/GCP, Lean Manufacturing, Six-Sigma, etc.
§ Broad knowledge of organizational communications theory and techniques and a keen understanding of various communications mediums, including, but not limited to, online, print, video, and audio/visual communications.
§ Fluency in multi-media platforms such as video production, digital communications, web.
