Job Summary - a concise overview of the job  

Business Development Director is responsible for Business Development and Alliance Management activities  

for both Endo & Par businesses. The role will:  




Support the team in modeling / forecasting / valuation, screening, tracking, business cases, and evaluating  

new products / business opportunities for licensing or M&A across the specialty platform, including but not  

limited to Xiaflex and CCH, as well as the sterile hospital / institutional platform.  

Analyze data and maintain a competitive intelligence database utilizing new and historical opportunities.  

Network with companies in the EU to build relationship and derive potential BD opportunities within  

aesthetics, urology, sterile injectable businesses.  

Develop a list of BD opportunities to target for partnerships or acquisitions that will drive enterprise  

growth. This will include a focus on sourcing opportunities within the EU for in-licensing or acquisition of  

assets to commercialize in the US.  



Take on both internal and external facing responsibilities for Alliance Management working closely with BD  

team, Dublin team, and 3rd party partners.  

Special Projects on an ad-hoc, as needed basis including but not limited to Licensing, M&A, LCM of the  

specialty and sterile hospital businesses.

with internal and external teams for new product and business  




Provides strategic and financial analysis that will guide business  

development decisions including in-licensing pipeline opportunities, product  

acquisitions, and M&A.  





Develop and maintain relationships with key internal US and Dublin  

stakeholders and 3rd party partners for all BD products sourced, signed off,  

and/or commercial. Resolve any issues that may arise internally or  

externally and negotiate optimal outcome. Facilitates senior management  

(Dublin & US) briefings on business development opportunities.  

Supported by internal and external counsel, leads contract negotiations and  

coordinates with all relevant functional teams the successful completion of  

the specific form of agreement.
