You will play a critical role in driving the design and development of our industry-leading cloud-based platform. The team is responsible for developing and maintaining the applications and systems that drive our company's revenue. 

This role requires a self-motivated person with excellent communication skills, a strong technical background and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Tech stack:
Python (70%+), Java (Spring) (20-30%)
FastAPI, Django,
MySQL, PostgreSQL, BigQuery,
GCP, Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes, Pydantic, mypy, pytest

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

• Lead the design, development and maintenance of new features and functionality for our platform
• Drives complex projects by defining proper phases adjusted to the needs of the business as well as technical necessities making sure proper solution at the end
• Drives code development within the team to make sure that code is compliant with best practices. Ensures high standards throughout the product/project.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other less experienced engineers on the team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, QA, and operations to deliver high-quality products
• Continuously improve the software development process and practices

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS: 

• 5+ years of experience in software development
• Strong experience in Python
• Experience in Java (Spring) is a huge bonus
• Experience in building number of services/large functionalities taking focusing not only on development but also production-side working: metrics, observability, alerting and debugging
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
• Experience with agile development methodologies
