Position Overview

As a full time member of the sales team, the Customer Success Intern will assume a critical role in the assisting the Customer Success team in the execution of all sales related activities. The Intern’s day-to-day responsibilities will include processing daily orders, invoicing, helping facilitate changes in product offerings, and liaising with key operations personnel.  Ideal candidates are very detail-oriented with superior communication skills including speaking, writing, and active listening.  This position has the possibility of being transitioned into an entry level full time position at the conclusion of the internship in August.

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for placing and executing daily customer orders
  • Handles administrative functions for onboarding of new customers as well as systems maintenance for existing customers
  • Processes and reconciles new and existing invoices
  • Establishes working knowledge of lead times, order minimums, and marketing promotions to ensure all orders will be able to be properly executed in determined timelines
  • Serve as a liaison internally between the Customer Success team and sales, marketing, and operations
  • Troubleshoot any problems that occur during the order process and suggest appropriate solutions to mitigate future issues
  • Master the company’s software solutions and ERP to document and follow-up on all sales activities
  • Educate yourself and the department on trends in the industry, category, and competitive landscape
  • Provide ad hoc support and analysis
  • Work Safety – Ensures that all tasks and functions of position are performed in a safe manner at all times and that all procedures and requirements are properly followed to accomplish assigned tasks
  • Food Safety/Quality – Responsible for food safety and quality as well as reporting food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • BA/BS from a four year institution, preferably in business or communications
  • Advanced proficiency in the MS Office Suite, including Excel
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and listening communication skills
  • Exceptional time management and task prioritization skills
  • Keen attention to detail often while juggling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and in high-growth, deadline oriented, and fast-paced environments
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
