DevOps Engineer

 

Overview 

 

We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You will work closely with development and operations teams to streamline our software delivery process, improve scalability, reliability, and security of our systems, and automate repetitive tasks.

 

What you will do: 

 

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to define infrastructure requirements and ensure scalability, reliability, and security of our systems.
  • Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or similar.
  • Configure and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for proactive detection and resolution of issues.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment using tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements by implementing appropriate security controls and best practices.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and respond to incidents to minimize downtime and ensure system availability.

 

What you will bring:  

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or similar.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in Linux system administration and shell scripting.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or similar are a plus.
