PMO Support Analyst

Job Description:

Provide support to the NCUA Program Management Office including direct support to the ESM Government Program Manager and Dynamo Program Lead. Activities include the following:

         Assist the client with oversight activities of a major software development and deployment initiative

         Develop and maintain program documentation (project plans, schedules, risk register, etc.)

         Prepare briefings for senior leadership, include Executive Board

         Attend meetings and ensure proper note taking and task tracking

         Q/A documents for grammar, accuracy, and completeness

         Analyze program and budget reports, financial presentations, and other materials to support the client in programming, budgeting processes, and basis of estimates

         Assist with analyzing program and budget information for submission to the client

         Assist with the preparation of program/project status requests, briefing charts, program variance reports, other documents within prescribed timelines for review and analysis

         Assist with the acquisition and interpretation of data and prepare presentations on program and project status for decision-making,

         Provide analytical support in budget or financial planning for an organization, organizational unit, program, or expenditure or cost center to identify potential variances

         Assist with monitoring expenses against budgets and the government with strategic business planning and analyze financial data and transactions for appropriate use

Required Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

       2+ years of experience providing PMO support

       BA or BS degree

       Full MS Office Suite experience

       Ability to respond quickly to requests

       Experience with project management tools, terminology and methodology

       Experience with analyzing budget planning, budget preparation, and budget execution

       Experience with financial analytics, trend analysis, management controls

       High Attention to detail

       Ability to respond quickly to urgent requests

       Ability to operate independently

       Experience with the preparation of reports that reflect programs or project status in the areas of cost, schedule, and performance

       Experience with populating and maintaining Microsoft project

Nice to Have:

       Experience supporting IT Solution Implementations

       Ability to capture and track business and technical requirements

       CAPM or PMP
