Position at Dynacare

Dynacare is currently recruiting for a Dispatcher  to join our Logistics team in Brampton Ontario.This is a Full time position. Working hours are Monday to Friday  3 pm – 11 pm. 


  • Schedules, dispatches and monitors drivers and shipments, ensuring our commitment to customers is met
  • Ensures the transportation of freight is handled efficiently without loss or damage
  • Resolves issues, contacting stakeholders, as required, to clarify issues and provide solutions
  • Documents and books orders, maintains records and accurately relays required information to drivers in a clear, concise manner
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date ‘spot’ quotes
  • Demonstrates Dynacare values with every customer interaction.  These values include being client and patient-focused, anticipating and exceeding expectations, acting with integrity and treating others with respect.

Must Have:

  • 3 -5 years’ experience in a dispatch role with a demonstrated understanding of freight rates, rating methods, transportation methods and related equipment and processes
  • Valid G class driver’s license with a clean abstract
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods training

 Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with Courier Complete and Fleet Complete or similar technology/software
  • Demonstrated ability to self-manage, prioritize and collaborate in a team-oriented, high volume, time-sensitive environment
  • An analytical aptitude and ability to identify and make recommendations for process improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, in English.
