Position at Dynacare

Dynacare is currently searching for a Billing Coordinator to join their Logistics Department in Brampton, Ontario. This is a 6 months contract role.

 Billing Coordinator will assist with billing functions of the Department. Setting up client profile and pricing in the Courier Complete system. Responsible for reviewing client order for the processing of invoices as per contractual obligation. 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate set up of new and existing clients in Courier Complete
  • Create and update customer profiles and pricing on Courier Complete
  • Compile metrics from Courier Complete according to contractual obligations
  • Meet with internal business partners as required
  • Review pre-billing reports prior to invoicing
  • Generate reports of remaining incomplete billing and follow-up with the corresponding stakeholder on missing information
  • Proactively evaluates potential problems on the job and initiate action to limit negative outcomes.
  • Price ad-hoc runs according to contractual agreements
  • Finalize client orders on a monthly basis in accordance with billing timelines
  • Participate in Courier Complete clean up as a subject matter expert
  • “Monthly Reports” for Clients on STAT calls
  • “Internal Monthly Reports” for statistical analysis on STAT Calls
  • Ensure that all outstanding unpaid claims are reviewed, investigated and re-billed 
  • Assist with the development, testing and implementation of Billing related policies and procedures
  • Provide assistance and training for new and existing employees as required in current or new procedures, and on interpretation of policies and procedures
  • Scan requisitions on a daily basis, internal mail distribution, filing and month end reporting
  • Maintain billing master files in computer system and also record retention for the department, including arrangement of off-site storage
  • Other duties as assigned
Must have:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2 years of related experience in billing / accounting / admin Ability to modify and/or develop new solutions to problems in absence of guidelines for supervisory approval
  • Ability to make simple decisions, knowing that the information provided is accurate and appropriate
  • Propose new ideas on how a procedure can be better performed to be more efficient and effective
  • Escalate follow-up actions, as appropriate
  • Strong Attention to Detail, and Customer focus
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office abilities, specifically Excel
  • Excellent Organizational and Time Management Skills
  • Dependable, self-starter able to work independently and make decisions once trained and confident.
Nice to have:
