Are YOU our next End User & Lab Technologies Analyst?
The End User & Lab Technologies Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the effective management and procurement of end user devices within the organization. This role involves overseeing the lifecycle of end user devices, from selection and procurement to deployment, maintenance, and retirement. The specialist collaborates closely with various stakeholders, including IT teams, vendors, and end users, to ensure that end user devices meet the organization's requirements and support its business objectives. This covers all laptops, cellphones, tablets, kiosks, deskphones, softphones as well as supporting vendors with Laboratory equipment. This role is expected to routinely participate as a key member within the team & operate with minimal supervision. They must be capable developing new methodologies, policies, procedures, and standards as well as operate with technical expertise. This is a permanent, full-time hybrid position working Monday – Friday, 9:00 am-5:00 pm.

How YOU will make a difference:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define end user device requirements and specifications.
  • Research, evaluate, and select appropriate devices and vendors based on organizational needs, budget, and quality standards.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to secure favorable agreements.
  • Coordinate the procurement process, including purchase orders, invoicing, and vendor management.
  • Oversee the deployment and configuration of end user devices, ensuring they meet security, compliance, and usability standards.
  • Develop and implement device management policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective device usage.
  • Monitor device performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support to end users as needed.
  • Implement and maintain device management solutions, such as Mobile Device Management (MDM) or Endpoint Management platforms.
  • Maintain accurate records of all end user devices, including inventory, specifications, and ownership details.
  • Track device lifecycles, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with asset management policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers, serving as the primary point of contact for device-related matters.
  • Monitor vendor performance and escalate issues as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with vendors to stay informed about new technologies, product updates, and industry trends.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization related to end user device management and procurement.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in device management and procurement.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to enhance overall IT infrastructure and user experience.
What YOU bring to the role: 
  • 3+ Years of relevant work experience as part of Information Technology teams or related education
  • Excellent knowledge/Experience of Microsoft Azure, Intune, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
  • Strong Experience in Android, iOS and Windows Device Enterprise Management.
  • Strong Experience in iOS Supervised and Unsupervised Management
Technical Skills
  • 3+ years of relevant Endpoint management experience in an Enterprise PC environment
  • 3+ years of experience with Windows, iOS and Android mobile device operating systems
  • 2+ years of experience with deploying iOS Supervised controls and Apple Business Manager
  • Experience in Microsoft365 environment.
  • Experience supporting VOIP systems
Social Process Skills
  • Effective communication (oral and written), interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Process oriented with a focus on continuous improvements
  • Ability to work through tickets on a platform like ServiceNow or BMC Remedy
  • Good problem-solving skills, seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work in a multi-functional team environment with rapidly changing priorities
  • Influencing – ability to impact decisions within and outside functional area within the context and prescribed limits established by the immediate manager
Working conditions:
  • Working on multiple projects and ability to prioritize
  • Should be able to lift at least 20 pounds to be able to lift and carry equipment to different sites and locations
  • Might require travel to other cities
