QC Supervisor
Description
- Leading a team of QC technicians and analysts, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Single point of contact for all microbiological activities and assessments.
- Developing and implementing QC procedures, protocols, and specifications in accordance with cGMP guidelines and client requirements.
- Overseeing laboratory equipment qualification, calibration, and maintenance activities to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Reviewing and approving QC test data, reports, and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance based on ALCOA principles.
- Investigating deviations, out-of-specification (OOS) results, and non-conformances, and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) as needed.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participating in client audits, regulatory inspections, and quality system reviews as a subject matter expert in QC operations.
- BSc and 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical field
- GMP knowledge and experience
- Experienced microbiologist with experience of relevant testing methods and techniques
- Experience in supervising a team, motivating and coaching team members
