About Your Role

Dotdash is seeking a Senior Pricing & Yield Analyst to join the Revenue Analytics team.  The Senior Analyst is tasked with setting pricing rules and operational guidelines for the Sales & Operations teams to maximize yield while increasing sales volume.  This role covers every Dotdash vertical and domain and all sales channels, while monitoring the open marketplace and sales trends to guide future pricing strategy.  This key role combines expertise in digital media, direct sales operations, programmatic yield and management of sales margins – all with the goal of maximizing the revenue, profitability and efficiency of the business.

About Your Contributions

  • Own global pricing for all Dotdash media sales
    • Evaluate & update all rate cards & pricing guidelines
    • Across Direct & Programmatic sales channels
    • Across all verticals and brands
    • Domestic & International
  • Refine operational processes to maximize yield & efficiency
    • Optimize inventory utilization
    • Reduce impression waste
    • Streamline pricing & planning process
  • Build Inventory, sell-through & yield dashboards to socialize the status of the business and surface opportunities for incremental sales
  • Optimize marketing tactics, balancing campaign performance & yield

 About You

  • 4+ years in a quantitative, analyst role
  • Proven quantitative analytical abilities
  • High proficiency in Excel
  • Deep understanding of digital advertising space
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with a knack for distilling complex data to draw and surface concise, actionable insights
  • Familiarity with ad-serving technology and reporting
  • Motivated self-starter with a collaborative and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, with multiple demands and shifting priorities
  • College degree required
