About Your Role 
The Travel + Leisure team is looking for a Commerce Editor to help expand and maintain Travel + Leisure’s robust evergreen commerce library. You will assign, edit, update, and publish roundups and reviews of travel products.  
This is a full-time (40 hours a week), five-month contract position with the potential to extend or go full-time with a pay range of $35 per hour.  
 
About Your Contributions: 
 
  • Assign, edit and publish product roundups and reviews that are a fit for the brand and align with the site’s standards and goals 
  • Update content based on performance data and insights as well as updated product information 
  • Collaborate with the beat editors, editorial, growth, and social teams to optimize our content for our readers and search 
  • Prioritize day-to-day needs alongside special projects that support the team’s goals 
  • Ensure both new and existing content reflects the voice and values of Travel + Leisure 
  • Attend and participate in weekly team meetings 
About You: 
  • 3+ years writing and editing experience at an online publisher 
  • Personal interest in finding the best travel products, including luggage, apparel, outdoor gear, and more 
  • Detail-oriented and deadline-focused 
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices 
  • Proficiency in project management tools like Google Sheets, Airtable, or similar 
  • CMS experience required 
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required 

Pay Range: $35.00/hr
