MISSIONS

Devialet is seeking a Wholesale Manager for North America to manage relationships with our wholesale partners.

Reporting to the Sales Director, the Wholesale Manager directly oversees our audio dealer network and other specialty retail accounts. He/She is accountable for financial oversight, sales and initiatives and contributes to marketing strategy to support sales within the wholesale network.

The Wholesale Sales Manager is directly responsible for developing business opportunities through the accounts he/she manages directly. Interacting at high levels with both Internal Departments and External Partners is essential. 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the operations of given region

  • 360° project management

  • P&L / budget owner

  • Utilize sales data to manage, develop, and serve existing accounts

  • Identify, prospect and convert new account opportunities for the business, develop new business and ensure profitability

  • Develop growth strategies signed off by Sales Director through identifying and attending important global events and trade shows, create, implement, and execute merchandising plans that help the business to grow and meet sales targets

  • Regularly meet with partners to manage accounts, deliver sales and technical training, build lasting relationships

  • Draft wholesale forecasts and work towards agreed KPIs

  • Develop and submit weekly, monthly or quarterly performance and progress reports to Sales Director

  • Ensure that all aspects of Devialet wholesale business operate smoothly

  • Implement brand B2B strategies (promotional plans, identifying new markets, new partners, brand & product positioning)

  • Partners selection, training development, scheduling and ongoing technical / business development of partners

  • Regional expertise

PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required

  • At least 4+ years of sales experience

  • Relevant industry background gained from a competitor or company in a related industry.

  • Must possess a proven track record of sales over-achievement, a high level of professionalism, and excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • An established network of business relationships within the audio industry

  • Proficiency on Salesforce, Microsoft and Apple tools, Google online tools

Requirements:

Problem-Solving – Wholesale manager must be able to identify performance issues and propose. The ability to make decisions quickly and effectively, as well as the ability to process information clearly, is vital to this role

Requires Travel - ~50% US & Canada travel expected for the position

Leadership – Wholesale manager must be able to motivate colleagues and teams to work towards shared sales targets and strategies, strong leadership skills are a must

Customer Focus – A large part of wholesale managers’ job is to build relationships with partners and put the client at the forefront of their strategies and plans. Previous experience in a customer-focused role is required for the job

Computer Skills – This role requires the ability to utilize data sheets and produce presentations, so wholesale managers must be able to use computer software to do this effectively

Numeracy Skills – Wholesale manager regularly analyzes data and sales reports, strong numerical skills are essential.
