As the leader of Deem’s demand generation center, you will hire, develop and motivate a team of highly qualified, success-oriented inside sales reps. You will foster an empowered and highly effective team, focused on aligning efforts with business results. You will collaborate with the marketing lead on overall demand generation strategy, manage the demand generation plan and support the process, systems and infrastructure related to demand gen. Your role involves consistent collaboration with the field sales team, and monitoring/growth of pipeline and sales goals. We are looking for someone who can take full ownership of campaigns and demand gen, loves to roll up their sleeves in a fast-paced environment, knows how to deliver results, and wants to change the way corporations and people manage travel!

What you’ll do:

  • Design the overall corporate demand generation strategy, including inbound and outbound lead acquisition
  • Grow the inside sales/demand generation team through hiring and training
  • Define strategies and tactics to target buyers and accounts to generate leads and set meetings for field sales/account reps
  • Responsible for sales development based on product go-to-market strategy
  • Responsible for driving pipeline growth and impacting revenue
  • Develop and manage the demand generation marketing plan and operations across channels
  • Collaborate on inbound/outbound lead generation strategy for digital and offline channels including: SEM/ PPC, Social, display/re-targeting, events, webinars, websites/SEO, review Sites, email, associations, and offline channels
  • Develop and execute the demand generation strategy for Deem alliance partners
  • Own the relationship with the field sales team and forge strong communication and service level agreement between marketing and sales
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance the buyer experience and execute campaigns in a consistent, compelling and connected way
  • Conduct A/B tests across channels to continuously optimize campaign and channel performance
  • Establish best practices, tools, systems and processes for lead follow up and outbound/inbound prospecting – including Salesforce, Salesloft and Marketo
  • Align resources to support field sales and priority target segments
  • Continuously manage the performance and development of team through proper coaching, development of sales skills, competitive positioning, motivation, goal setting and general direction
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing leaders to refine operations in the context of business and market trends
  • Collaborate with product team to prioritize and develop integrated campaigns, determine best channels for each product/campaign/piece of content
  • Collaborate with product and marketing to define, create and optimize all sales and marketing assets
  • Manage outside demand gen, data building and management vendors

Skills You Need:

  • Demonstrated experience leading the demand generation function to execute integrated marketing campaigns for verticals and target audiences
  • Outstanding leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
  • 7+ years' experience in managing demand generation strategy across online and offline channels, demonstrating significant measurable results
  • 3+ years' experience leading and managing a team of direct reports
  • Experience with Marketing Automation required. (Marketo experience a plus)
  • Experience with Web Analytics (Google Analytics experience a plus)
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM
  • Experience in account-based marketing tactics
  • Advanced knowledge of digital marketing landscape and emerging technologies
  • Good understanding and practical knowledge of web strategy
