Qualified candidates will be able to effectively communicate with both technical and business end-users for requirements analysis, and will be highly proficient in the technical architecture, design, and development of analytical reports and business intelligence components. Experience at a large-implementation consulting firm, related MicroStrategy certification, and a proven track record of successful delivery are desired.   • Interview business users to extract requirements fulfilling upon both strategic and tactical information needs
  • Creating Event Triggers, and using Event Triggers to distribute reports
  • Setting up a MicroStrategy Security Model using LDAP (Best Practice use of Filters/Groups/Roles)
  • Be familiar with MicroStrategy Metadata (especially when it is hosted with AWS), and triaging Metadata inconsistencies
  • Set up a repeatable way to update the term definitions in MicroStrategy using the IGC data (scheduled)
  • Document requirement specifications and any related designs
  • Create MicroStrategy reports and dashboards
  • Test reports for data accuracy and conduct root cause analysis and remediation of issues
  • Design and perform all activities related to migration of MicroStrategy components between environments during development and deployment
  • Proficient in reading and writing SQL
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to quickly recognize, isolate, and resolve technical problems
  • Strong business and analytical skills including direct interaction with business end users for requirements analysis
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, CIS, Engineering, or Math
  • 5+ years related IT experience
  • 3+ years hands-on experience with implementation and support of a business intelligence reporting suite
