The position requires a highly seasoned Data/Business Analyst, with strong abilities in the areas of requirements discovery, SQL development, analytics, and experience in Public Health. You will be responsible for multiple country portfolios, provide data analytics support to respective S/GAC Country Chair and Program Managers, and interpret results and recommendations on implementing program changes to improve performance. International travel is required and estimated to be four time per year for 2 weeks’ in duration per trip.

Education, Experience, and Certifications

  • Master’s degree in Public Health, International Studies, Statistics, Economics, Public Policy, or a comparable field.
  • 2+ years’ experience in supporting public health clients, preferably international public health.
  • 2+ years’ experience analyzing public health data, preferably data related to international public health, including interpretation of results in order to make recommendations for program improvements.
  • 1+ years’ experience interfacing with PEPFAR implementing agencies and/or implementing partners through field research to understand end-user needs, preferred.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Managed internal portfolios and provide data analytic support to team and clients.
  • Understand and analysis the current state ad hoc reporting capabilities leveraged by business.
  • Utilize experience in requirements definition to formulate the requirements.
  • Consolidate ideas and feedback from multiple business stakeholders and serve as the single authoritative source for requirements to the design team.
  • Understand expectations set with client and communicate strategically.
  • Develop ad hoc reporting use cases and demonstrate them to customers and project teams.
  • Facilitate business discussions and work with business/IT stakeholders to drive decisions.
  • Data, system, and defect analysis experience
  • Requirements planning/JAD session facilitation experience
  • Able to lead others and have strong communications skills


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to analyze and formulate business requirements for requirements elicitation, analysis, and management.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with outstanding problem-solving skills
  • Formulate and define system scope and objectives through IS collaboration
  • Adapt to working in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Partner (Liaison) with client, IS and project team
