Senior Field Recruiter | 1099 Blue Collar Roles

Six Figure Position (growth + attrition)

  • $52,000 base

  • $250 per acquisition

Contribute to the company’s primary objective: recruit and convert applicants into 1099 blue collar field technician roles to maintain current workloads and future expansions across all contracts. Recruit for direct hire corporate roles as operations continue to scale.

Roles:

  • Internal Recruiter – Multiple roles, multiple locations, contract labor, corporate hires
  • Field Recruiter – Visit local managers, manage localized growth, open houses, interviews, etc…
  • Sales Attitude – Contracting requires up front investment with insurance, vehicles, tools, etc. Sales approach recruiting is required to overcome obstacles and find the very best talent.

Locations:

Report to corporate headquarters in Garner, NC with regular travel to:

Travel:

The position requires regular travel to wherever recruiting is prioritized.

Reporting Structure:

  • Promote referral and positive review culture to technicians
  • Work alongside local hiring managers
  • Work alongside centralized recruiting team members
  • Interact with corporate department heads & leadership
  • Report to Advertising & Recruiting Department Head

Detailed reasons for the Position:

  • Recruiting Team fills multiple roles from advertising through marshalling candidates through the onboarding process to career launch. This position will provide our team a “dedicated recruiter role” to focus on and expand conversion volume into pipelines.
  • Directly provide local managers with face to face corporate support & significantly impact local recruiting effectiveness.
  • Host recruiting efforts in expansion areas as we take on new territory for existing contracts or take on new contracts requiring a new labor force.
  • Close overdue requisitions for hard to fill remote areas that have no local hiring manager.

Short Term Objectives:

  1. Close overdue requisitions in areas with no hiring manager
  2. Backfill attrition for existing contracts
  3. Complete final staffing for recent expansions
  4. Staff up for anticipated annual work volume

Long Term Objectives:

  1. Build dedicated skillset teams for growing contracts
  2. Ad revenue through increased work volume
  3. Scale

Ideal Candidates have:

  • Sales attitude / sales experience
  • 1099 role recruiting experience.  For example, our cell phone repair techs could be compared to rideshare 1099 sub-contractors that use their vehicles in similar fashion… but then go buy tools and learn to fix cell phones too.
  • Blue collar recruiting experience – cable, satellite, low voltage, electrical, electronics
  • Their own ideas and methods of sourcing talent that meets our requirements

Team Technology:

We are small group of employees that manage a large group of fast moving contractors.  We do this through data tracking, analysis and some digital interactions.

  • Digital operations platforms, customized CRM’s, Excel spreadsheets, independent data analysis, research, regular reporting – daily, weekly, monthly

This role specifically requires use of digital ATS Jobvite, image viewers, pdf converters, scanners, file sharing platforms, video calls, Microsoft Excel and the usual suspects.  There will be some exposure to operations digital platforms as needed.
